Marina di Bibbona is one of the most renowned and appreciated seaside resorts of the Etruscan coast, it is built around the 18th-century Fort constructed to defend the coast from pirate raids.
The coast is characterised by a wide sand beach dotted with Mediterranean scrub, backed by natural dunes with many Juniper and Tamarisk trees that serve as a boundary between the sea and the luxuriant pine wood, a triumph of nature and unspoiled surroundings.
The equipped beaches with bathing establishments alternate with so-called “Punti Azzurri”, areas of public beach where you can enjoy the sea freely, carving out a small corner of tranquillity.
For those, however, who are looking for a more active holiday, Bibbona also offers many opportunities to practice sports and activities related to the sea.
For anyone who spends a holiday here, however, it is a must to taste the typical fresh seafood cuisine made from local produce.
